WWG-E & J Chavez pics '07
Eric and Janet Chavez, from Oaxaca, Mexico, gave a
workshop on April 12 to a Purdue weaving class, with
members of WWG as guests. They explained both the
traditional weaving of Zapotec rugs (they are 4th
generation weavers), and natural dyes that Eric is
reintroducing to his village, for the health of his
people as well as regaining the beautiful look of the
